Who we are
This website is operated by Ranjit Dhillon, Business & Digital Growth Director, based in London, UK. In this policy “we” and “us” means Ranjit Dhillon and the members of his leadership team who help respond to enquiries. For any privacy question, email hi@ranjitdhillon.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the consultation form we collect:
- your name and email address;
- optionally, your company, role and company size;
- what you need help with and the message you write;
- your agreement to be contacted about the enquiry;
- the page you sent the form from and, if you used it, your growth diagnostic score.
If you contact us by email, phone or social media we receive the details you choose to share in that conversation. The growth diagnostic works in your browser; your answers are only sent to us if you then submit the enquiry form.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation if you want one;
- to route your enquiry to the right member of the leadership team;
- to keep a record of our conversation and any work that follows;
- to protect the website from spam and misuse.
We do not sell your information, add you to marketing lists or share it with anyone outside the team except the service providers listed below.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent (given when you tick the box on the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Where an enquiry leads to work together, we may also rely on the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.
Who processes your data
Enquiries are stored in a secure, access-controlled database provided by our website hosting provider. Only Ranjit and authorised members of his leadership team can access them. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any resulting relationship, and we review stored enquiries regularly. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
How we protect it
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Form submissions are checked on our server, protected against automated spam and stored in a database that cannot be read from the public website.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is inaccurate;
- delete your information or restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
Email hi@ranjitdhillon.com to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
